This is for a beautiful, hard to find white porcelain AK Kaiser sculpture depicting a Thoroughbred mare and foal, also known as Equus Caballus. This piece was a limited edition of 3000 by artist Wolfgang Gawantka. The first 1500 pieces were painted and the last 1500 were white. This piece is hand-numbered as 634 In addition to the red stamp that designates this as a Kaiser limited edition of 3000 made in West Germany, there is a pale blue Kaiser stamp, an incised model number and a Golden Crown E&R sticker. This piece is in beautiful condition with no chips, cracks or discoloration. The base is 10" long and 4" wide at the widest point. The piece itself is 10 1/2" long from the foal's tail to the mare's tail and approximately 9" tall from the base to the mare's ears.
